The Olympics loose billions for host cities. In Chicago they will destroy a large part of Washington Park and parts of Lincoln Park, Douglas Park, Jackson Park and Grant Park. The city has committed to spend $730 million on the games THAT WE KNOW OF. Do you have a better way to spend $730 million to improve our city?

Comment on PROSTITUTION IS GROWING IN WASHINGTON PARK!

My biggest concern is with all the loitering from 55th and State to the Green Line, it's just ridiculous and scary at times. I just moved to this area for peace and quiet but I was wrong, people stand outside my door all day and night, my neighbors just look the other way but I know that something needs to be done.

Comment on Free Business Education Workshops with the Department of Business Affairs and Licensing

Hello Pasha,

The regional transportation issue is one of several issues we need to stay on top of. Here is a link to the Save Chicago Transit website: http://www.savechicagolandtransit.com/overview.asp

Here is the schedule of upcoming CTA Board meetings:

The Chicago Transit Board meets monthly in the CTA main offices. The meetings are held on the second floor at 567 W. Lake Street, Boardroom, Chicago, Illinois. These board meetings are open to the public. Board meetings usually take place at 10:00 a.m. and are usually preceded by committee meetings.

The separate committees include Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Capital Construction Oversight, and the Finance, Audit & Budget Committee. Board meetings are to be held on the second Wednesday of each month unless otherwise noted.

The board meetings for the year 2007 are scheduled at
10:00 a.m. on the following dates (unless otherwise as noted):

Public Hearing on 2008 Budget
Thursday October 25, 2007 at 6 p.m.
567 W. Come to one of our meetings or feel free to share vital information here.

Best regards,
A.J.
